The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Anvil.
Niel flicks out a counter leg kick but Anvil steps away.
Niel tries to bum rush Anvil with a series of wild strikes but Anvil uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Niel looks for the body kick but Anvil saw that one coming.
Niel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Anvil scores with a takedown into Niel's guard.
Niel wants to stand up but Anvil is controlling him.

Anvil is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Niel is just riding it out for now. Anvil eventually gives up the hold.

Niel's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
BOOM! Anvil connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Anvil cracks Niel with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
