Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jayceon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Slayed as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blake Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor misses with a low kick. Shamrock shoots in for a takedown but Taylor shows good takedown defense. Shamrock looks for a takedown but Taylor sprawls well. Shamrock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Shamrock looks gassed! Taylor clinches. Shamrock is trying to drag Taylor to the mat but Taylor just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jayceon Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Shamrock. Shamrock fails to pull guard.
Taylor is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Taylor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Taylor lands a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Taylor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Shamrock checks a leg kick. Taylor clinches with his opponent.
Shamrock looking to throw knees to the head but Taylor is blocking nicely.
Shamrock jumps guard but Taylor stands there with Shamrock around his waist. Shamrock gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shamrock tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Taylor's elbow. Taylor is looking to control Shamrock's arms but Shamrock gets an underhook and turns him. Now Taylor has his back to the cage. Shamrock is working for takedown but Taylor is calmly controlling the position for now.

Shamrock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shamrock postures up in Taylor's guard and throws a big left but Taylor blocks it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Taylor is on top in guard.
Shamrock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Taylor pushing down on Shamrock's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Shamrock strikes from the bottom but Taylor uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Taylor wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Shamrock, who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Shamrock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Taylor staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Shamrock is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Taylor takes a little break here. Shamrock wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Shamrock wants to get back to his feet but Taylor is dominant here and he's now got Shamrock's back! I really don't envy Shamrock right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Shamrock!

Shamrock is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Taylor off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Taylor gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shamrock is really stuck here.
Taylor really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Shamrock. Shamrock trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Taylor lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Taylor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamrock trying to get back to his feet but Taylor is in full control for now. Taylor is working for a rear naked choke. Shamrock is not defending it well and Taylor has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Shamrock refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Shamrock's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
