Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Demitrious Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason has chosen Jack and Jack - I'm In as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Demitrious Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Jason! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jason to the mat! Jason manages to get full guard. Jason wants to improve his position but instead Johnson has moved into half guard.
Jason wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jason tries to kick Johnson off but Johnson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Johnson in particular looking to stall. Jason moves into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Johnson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jason looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jason trying to control the position.
Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jason works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Johnson sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Jason is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jason keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Johnson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jason darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jason is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are battling for position here. Jason manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Johnson preventing the sweep. Johnson being controlled here momentarily. Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jason is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jason trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Johnson manages to pass to mount!
We've been hearing good reports from Johnson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Jason is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Johnson controlling the position easily from mount. and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jason is looking to stand back up but Johnson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jason. Johnson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jason wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson stalling. Jason avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johnson. Johnson trying to control the action but Jason is working from the bottom. Jason tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Jason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson controlling the action here. Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Johnson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jason works his way to full guard. Good work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jason finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demitrious Johnson dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

It looks like Demitrious Johnson has been cut. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Johnson stopping the sweep attempt from Jason. Johnson content to stall in guard here. Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson is pushing down on Jason's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jason is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through. Johnson content just to control the position here. Jason is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Johnson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Johnson misses with a head shot. Johnson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Johnson throws some wild stikes that Jason manages to avoid easily.
Jason is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jack Jason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Poor strikes thrown by Johnson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

And that's the end of the fight! Demitrious Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
