Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Do Hoo Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Negreiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Do Hoo Jung has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Do Hoo Jung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alfredo Negreiros! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jung with a lazy takedown attempt and Negreiros counters with a straight right hand. Negreiros misses the shot to the body. Jung misses with a left hand and Jung takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jung takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Jung fails with the takedown letting Negreiros counter with a right hand. Jung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Negreiros pinned against the cage. Negreiros gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Do Hoo Jung. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung shoots in but no luck this time. Jung has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jung there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Negreiros staying out of range there. Negreiros keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Negreiros doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Negreiros leaves Jung with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Negreiros keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Negreiros looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Negreiros ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Negreiros wants to counter the offense by Jung and move into the clinch position. Jung throws an overhand right that lands on Negreiros's shoulder, as Negreiros tries to avoid the shot. Jung looking to score a takedown here. Negreiros is defending well but Jung drives through and ends up in Negreiros's guard. Negreiros controls Jung momentarily but Jung frees himself. Jung controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jung pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Negreiros is keeping the position for now. Negreiros can't keep his opponent in guard - Jung advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Negreiros is looking to control Jung's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Negreiros avoid being mounted? Negreiros is in trouble now - Jung has advanced to mount! Jung looking for a guillotine from mount but Negreiros is having none of it. Negreiros really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung looking to control and managing it successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Negreiros can do anything to dispel that myth. Jung is trying to take his opponent's back.
Jung moves to back control. Jung patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Jung looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Negreiros taps!
