Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and george st pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Undertaker Theme Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, george st pierre! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! st pierre fails to land the takedown. st pierre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bowie could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bowie with a lazy takedown attempt and st pierre decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bowie's guard. Bowie trying to control the position here. st pierre postures up and lands a big shot to Bowie's brow. Bowie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. st pierre decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bowie, up you get! st pierre shoots and misses and Bowie counters with a nice double leg into side control. st pierre won't be happy with that. Jason Bowie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of george st pierre. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bowie controls the position. Bowie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, st pierre has escaped the position, nice work there. st pierre defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on st pierre's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if st pierre can do anything to dispel that myth. Bowie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. st pierre knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bowie wants to control but st pierre is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sloppy strikes there by Bowie.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. st pierre misses with a body shot
and st pierre takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. st pierre lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bowie doesn't succeed with the takedown and st pierre counters with a takedown into side control. st pierre looks gassed! Bowie manages to get back to half guard. Bowie wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowie trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

st pierre avoids the attempt from Bowie to control. Bowie's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Bowie is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bowie tries to lock up and control but st pierre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bowie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Bowie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
george st pierre dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bowie feints and as st pierre raises his hands in defense, Bowie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bowie wants to control from the top but st pierre keeps moving. Bowie showing good wrestling skills to control the position. st pierre tries to land a sweep but no joy. st pierre trying to control the position.
st pierre is breathing heavily. Bowie trying to control but st pierre is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jason Bowie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bowie. Bowie controls the position. Bowie wants to lay and pray for a moment but st pierre keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie in side control, just content to control the action for now. You can see the frustration on st pierre's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bowie decides to take the fight back to the feet. Bowie misses with a takedown attempt - st pierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowie has his takedown stuffed and st pierre counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bowie controlling st pierre's posture. st pierre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bowie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bowie has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bowie is adopting a defensive guard. Bowie has a closed guard, preventing st pierre from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Bowie dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bowie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bowie just content to control the position. st pierre tries to bench press Bowie off him but Bowie keeps the position. Bowie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bowie stands up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in st pierre's guard. st pierre being controlled here, momentarily. Bowie trying to control but st pierre is working from the bottom.

Jason Bowie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. st pierre has his takedown stuffed and Bowie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bowie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. st pierre sprawls well initially but Bowie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bowie is looking for a kimura but st pierre is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bowie to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie wants to control but st pierre is keeping him busy. st pierre is trying is best to control the position here. st pierre is looking to escape. Bowie controlling the action here. Bowie is looking for a kimura here.
Well, if Bowie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Bowie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. st pierre tries to kick Bowie off but Bowie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bowie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. st pierre tries to roll over but Bowie keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bowie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so st pierre is just riding it out for now. Bowie eventually gives up the hold. st pierre is trying to stand back up but Bowie is controlling him
Bowie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Bowie showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bowie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
