Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Myres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Myres will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Myres! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myres jabs at Lesnar's body. Lesnar closes the distance and pushes Myres back into the cage. Myres is trying to break free. Lesnar pulls Myres into guard.
Myres wants to get up but he can't break Lesnar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lesnar is on top in guard.
Lesnar throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Myres utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lesnar trying to control but Myres is working from the bottom. Myres is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lesnar is controlling him. Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar postures up and lands a big shot to Myres's brow. Lesnar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lesnar prevents Myres from getting back to his feet. Lesnar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lesnar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Myres works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lesnar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lesnar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myres wants to get back to his feet but Lesnar is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lesnar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Myres wants to stand up but Lesnar is controlling him. Myres pushes Lesnar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Lesnar tries for a takedown but Myres circles away easily and Myres counters with a crisp one two that drops Lesnar! Myres thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lesnar to his feet! Lesnar is in big trouble!
Lesnar is rocked! Lesnar is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Myres doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Lesnar crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Lesnar's bad books for that mishap!
