Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Montgomery Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Sugar Ray - Mean Machine. Burns has chosen Swagga' Like Us as his entrance music. Montgomery Burns has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns fails with the takedown.
Steel is looking to clinch.
Burns shoots in for a takedown but Steel shows good takedown defense.

Steel pushes Burns up against the cage in a clinch.

Burns pulls guard successfully.
Burns can't keep his opponent in guard - Steel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Well, if Steel is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Burns trying to control here.
Steel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Steel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground.

Burns actively working from the bottom here.
Burns moves into full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel looking to sit in guard and control but Burns gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Steel wants to hit a switch here but Burns passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Steel there!

Burns jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Steel manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel is looking for a sweep.

Burns wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Steel, who protects the arm well.
Steel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Burns wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Burns has an Americana. Steel didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Burns is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Burns hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
