The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonsu shoots in for a double leg but Kingston sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kingston appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kingston drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bonsu wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Kingston controlling the position.
Kingston landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Kingston is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Kingston seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bonsu for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kingston scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bonsu to see if he's OK.

Bonsu on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Kingston cracks Bonsu with a big elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonsu takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bonsu is rocked!
Kingston in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Bonsu looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Kingston turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
