Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davor Langerholc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sara McSlamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langerholc comes to the cage accompanied by Hypocrisy - Fractured Millennium. Sara McSlamm struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. 45 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sara McSlamm! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langerholc scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Langerholc is trying to ground and pound but McSlamm uses the momentary lack of control by Langerholc to regain half guard. Langerholc takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. McSlamm wants to improve his position but Langerholc is controlling well.
Langerholc is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Langerholc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Langerholc thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McSlamm is looking for a sweep. Langerholc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Langerholc looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McSlamm with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Davor Langerholc overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Langerholc drops an elbow to the side of McSlamm's head. McSlamm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Langerholc. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Langerholc controlling the action here. Langerholc is nestled in close to McSlamm, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Langerholc connects with a nice short shot to McSlamm's temple. Langerholc working the head and body with strikes. Langerholc looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McSlamm tries to roll over but Langerholc keeps him under control. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Langerholc here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Langerholc is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
