Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andy Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall has chosen Whiskey in the Jar as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Zimmerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ian McCall! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCall throws a sloppy head kick and Zimmerman moves out of range easily. As McCall tries to get set, Zimmerman tries to push him back and clinch up but McCall manages to avoid the attempt. McCall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McCall tries to keep at a distance but Zimmerman has taken the fight into the clinch. McCall should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Zimmerman is stalling here.
Zimmerman lands a hook to the side of the head. Stalling in the clinch from McCall.
McCall fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zimmerman uses from the top position. McCall controlling Zimmerman's posture. McCall has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Zimmerman has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zimmerman scores with a couple of short elbows. Zimmerman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zimmerman throwing strikes but missing, from side control. McCall wants to control but Zimmerman postures up. An elbow from Zimmerman crashes against the mat.
Zimmerman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
McCall is looking for a sweep. Zimmerman is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zimmerman scoring with punches from side control. Zimmerman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McCall is looking for a sweep. Zimmerman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Zimmerman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, McCall has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Zimmerman but great work by McCall. McCall has knee on belly and moves into mount.

McCall working for a submission but Zimmerman is keeping him at bay. McCall working for a guillotine from mount but Zimmerman is in no mood to give up. Zimmerman is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zimmerman is working hard here to advance position. Zimmerman manages to regain half guard. Good work. McCall tries to pass the half guard into mount. Zimmerman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. McCall is working for a kimura but Zimmerman is defending it quite comfortably.
Zimmerman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman tries to roll over but McCall keeps him under control. McCall controlling the action here. McCall lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. McCall seems to be working for a kimura but Zimmerman defends the submission attempt. Zimmerman is looking for a sweep. McCall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Zimmerman gets back to full guard.
Zimmerman wants to sweep but no luck. Zimmerman throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. Zimmerman wants to sweep but no luck. McCall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. McCall scoring with some ground and pound. Zimmerman wants to sweep here but McCall controlling him for the moment. McCall passes Zimmerman's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McCall wants to work for an arm triangle but Zimmerman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McCall is looking for a kimura here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ian McCall will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Zimmerman tries to clinch but McCall is having none of it. Zimmerman tries to clinch but fails miserably and McCall counters with a lovely straight right hand! McCall misses with a takedown and Zimmerman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McCall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zimmerman on his heels. He'll look to pass Zimmerman's guard now, I'm sure. Zimmerman pushes McCall off and scrambles back to his feet.
Andy Zimmerman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McCall fails to land the takedown. Zimmerman clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zimmerman is looking to control McCall's arms but McCall gets an underhook and turns him. Now Zimmerman has his back to the cage. Zimmerman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McCall pushes Zimmerman up against the cage in a clinch. McCall gets control of Zimmerman's arms and successfully pulls guard. McCall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Zimmerman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McCall is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zimmerman, into his guard. Zimmerman throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
McCall wants to pass the guard but Zimmerman is keeping the position. Zimmerman wants to improve his position but instead McCall has moved into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. McCall preventing the sweep. McCall works over Zimmerman with some ground and pound from guard. McCall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McCall connects with a couple of short punches.
Zimmerman is rocked! McCall stands up from guard. Let's bang! Oh Zimmerman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McCall is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Zimmerman is in big trouble! McCall is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Zimmerman. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ian McCall! Ian McCall took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I AIN'T SURPRISED MOTHERFUCKERS...'.
