Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abe Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ragnarson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Taylor jumps guard but Ragnarson stands there with Taylor around his waist. Taylor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ragnarson is pushing Taylor up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ragnarson is trying to maintain a safe position but Taylor gets an underhook and turns Ragnarson into the cage.

Taylor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ragnarson uses from the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ragnarson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Taylor is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ragnarson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Abe Taylor will probably get the nod.

Ragnarson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Taylor on his heels. He'll look to pass Taylor's guard now, I'm sure.

Taylor with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Ragnarson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Taylor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well Ragnarson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
