Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lefteris Samaras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sixx comes into the arena with Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue blaring out of the sound system. Samaras comes into a darkened arena with his song building. BonieM kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sixx has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Sixx !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lefteris Samaras!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samaras connects with a body shot that sends Sixx 's belly button to the back.
Samaras uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sixx has his takedown stuffed
and Samaras counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Samaras lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sixx takes a step back to recover.
Samaras lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sixx 's sensitive parts.
Sixx shoots for a takedown but Samaras saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sixx is breathing heavily.
Samaras lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Samaras scores with a hook to the body. Sixx takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Samaras fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sixx sprawls well initially but Samaras persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Samaras is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Samaras's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that Samaras has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Samaras is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sixx is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
