Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Sekany (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Moracchioli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sekany comes to the cage accompanied by Centerfield. Leo Moracchioli is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Sekany! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leo Moracchioli! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moracchioli stuffs the takedown attempt from Sekany. Sekany gets slowly back to his feet. Sekany shoots in looking for a takedown but Moracchioli manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sekany's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Moracchioli shapes to counter with a head kick. Sekany dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sloppy strikes from Sekany. Those never looked like landing. Sekany ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moracchioli moves away. Moracchioli drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sekany defends it well. A head kick by Sekany misses and Moracchioli counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sekany is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Moracchioli tries to score a body lock takedown but Sekany shows good agility there to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moracchioli drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sekany gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jake Sekany has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Moracchioli.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sekany looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Moracchioli has hold of one of Sekany's legs. Sekany is fighting the takedown attempt but Moracchioli gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Moracchioli is in close to Sekany's body, working some short punches and elbows. Moracchioli makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Moracchioli postures up and lands a big shot to Sekany's brow. Moracchioli works over Sekany with some ground and pound from guard. Sekany is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Moracchioli is trying to stand back up but Sekany is controlling him
Moracchioli has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Moracchioli kicks Sekany off and gets back to his feet. Sekany dives in and grabs Moracchioli's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moracchioli pushes down on Sekany's head and hops out. Sekany is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sekany misses with a wild combination.
Sekany pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sekany shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moracchioli defends it nicely. Sekany misses with a takedown attempt and Moracchioli counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moracchioli. Moracchioli wants a takedown but no success here.
Moracchioli has Sekany pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sekany manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Moracchioli has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sekany clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Sekany grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moracchioli throwing damaging strikes from the back! Sekany could be in trouble here!
Moracchioli has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Sekany. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moracchioli lands strikes to the head. Sekany tries to break free.
Moracchioli punches Sekany on the ear. Sekany grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Moracchioli throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Sekany!

Sekany is rocked! Sekany is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rio Rough House that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Moracchioli is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Sekany. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Oh Sekany is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Moracchioli scores with punches to the body. Moracchioli loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Sekany hold on?
Moracchioli is landing big shots and Sekany is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!

Leo Moracchioli took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Pit Bull Development for their support in the buildup to the fight. In defeat, Jake Sekany stepped up to the mic, saying 'Don't make me throw a ball at you'.
