Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elias Lyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Elias Lyon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Elias Lyon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jr misses with a looping right.
Jr shoots in for a takedown but Lyon shows good takedown defense.
Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lyon as he jumps to the side.
Lyon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jr is wriggling around but Lyon manages to pass to half guard.
Lyon passes to full mount!
Jr is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jr sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lyon is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lyon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Lyon wants to free his trapped foot but Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lyon is just content to waste time from the top position. Jr takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

We've been hearing that Lyon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Lyon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lyon closes the distance and clinches up with Jr, looking for a takedown. Lyon pushes Jr against the cage but Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
