Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Good exchange - Hill coming out on top.
No joy there for Hill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hill instigates a clinch.
Smith's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Smith's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Smith misses with a punch on the inside.
Hill blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hill is struggling to control the position.
Smith misses with a hook from the clinch.
Smith throws a head punch that misses.

Smith swings wildly with an uppercut but Hill uses good head movement to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hill is working for takedown but Smith is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hill dips a shoulder and cracks Smith with a mighty uppercut! Smith falls back against the cage and Hill unloads with a barrage of strikes! Smith is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hill screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Armond Hill!
