Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carter Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Humphrey Baker!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.
Martin misses with a wild body shot.
Martin lands a nice looking body shot.
Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baker manages to avoid it.
Martin misses with the body kick

and Baker counters by moving into the clinch.

Martin misses with some punches.
Baker doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Baker swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've been informed that Baker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Baker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Martin is looking to control Baker's arms but Baker gets an underhook and turns him. Now Martin has his back to the cage.

Baker swings wildly with an uppercut but Martin uses good head movement to avoid it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Baker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Baker.

Baker misses with a hook to the ribs.
Baker struggles to land a body shot inside as Martin controls his hands.

Martin misses with a hook. Baker ducked under it nicely.

Baker looks to score with a jab to the body but Martin is just out of range.
Baker lands a really nice looking cross but Martin seems unphased.
Martin tries to clinch up but Baker circles away and keeps his distance.

Baker has closed the distance and engaged Martin in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baker misses with some punches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Baker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Baker lands with a light punch inside.
Baker throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Martins head.
Martin lands a hook that snaps the head of Baker backwards.
Baker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Martin backwards.


Martin is rocked!
Baker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Martin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Martin goes for a takedown attempt but Baker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Baker dips to his left and cracks Martin with an uppercut!
Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martin missing with a left hand there. Baker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Martin seems to have got his legs back now.
An inside leg kick lands from Baker.
Baker feints and then cracks Martin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martin down.
Baker scores with a sloppy right hand. Martin should have avoided that one.

Baker slips a straight right by Martin.
Baker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Baker cracks the inside of Martin's front leg.
Baker connects with a nice looking jab.
Martin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martin misses with a few strikes there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle, before Baker throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Martin's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Baker lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
