6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Springs! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oggleberry-Pip attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Oggleberry-Pip tries a head kick but it misses.
Oggleberry-Pip feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Springs's calf. Springs blocks a head kick by Oggleberry-Pip.
A slapping leg kick lands for Oggleberry-Pip.
Springs takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oggleberry-Pip checks a leg kick. Oggleberry-Pip avoids the body shot from Springs.
Oggleberry-Pip finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Oggleberry-Pip has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Oggleberry-Pip takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oggleberry-Pip moves into the clinch successfully.

Oggleberry-Pip pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Springs moves into range and connects with a jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Oggleberry-Pip clinches up with Springs and pushes him back against the ropes. Oggleberry-Pip lands a hook that snaps the head of Springs backwards. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Oggleberry-Pip pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Springs missing with a left hand there. Oggleberry-Pip was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Springs connects with a looping right hand.
Oggleberry-Pip lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Springs finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Good work by Springs as he checks the leg kick. Oggleberry-Pip takes one to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Springs. Oggleberry-Pip clinches up with Springs and pushes him back against the ropes. A bit of stalling here from Springs.

Springs swings wildly with an uppercut but Oggleberry-Pip uses good head movement to avoid it. Springs throws an elbow that misses.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Oggleberry-Pip struggles to land a body shot inside as Springs controls his hands.
Oggleberry-Pip lands a left hand that snaps the head of Springs backwards. Oggleberry-Pip lands a left hand.
Springs lands with a right to the head. Springs misses with a hook from the clinch. Oggleberry-Pip tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A head punch on the inside from Oggleberry-Pip fails to land. Oggleberry-Pip misses with a punch to the body.
Oggleberry-Pip lands an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oggleberry-Pip's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Springs is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Oggleberry-Pip hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Randy Springs! Randy Springs decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
