Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Booth told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Mayhem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Booth! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayhem throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mayhem lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Booth at a distance.
Booth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mayhem bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Booth's head. Mayhem connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Booth momentarily.
Booth throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mayhem sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mayhem tries to counter with a takedown but Booth is quick to defend against it. Booth takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Booth takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Booth throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Booth connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Mayhem swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Booth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mayhem.
Booth swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Booth swings widly with a right hand
letting Mayhem counter with a right hand. Mayhem checks the leg kick. Mayhem takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mayhem clinches up with Booth and pushes him back against the ropes. Booth tries to stall but Mayhem uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A head punch on the inside from Booth fails to land. Booth misses with some punches.
Booth struggles to land a body shot inside as Mayhem controls his hands.
Mayhem fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Booth misses with a knee to the head. Booth doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Booth misses with a short punch on the inside. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Mayhem creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Booth throws a head punch that misses. Booth digs a right hand into Mayhem's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mayhem's gas tank. Booth goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mayhem. Mayhem swings wildly with an uppercut but Booth uses good head movement to avoid it. Mayhem softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mayhem blocks a body shot from Booth. Booth has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Mayhem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Booth throws a shot to the body.

and Booth counters with an outside leg kick.
Booth misses with an uppercut
and Mayhem decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Booth's guard. Booth is trying to control the position but Mayhem postures up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Booth can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mayhem is stalling in the full guard. Booth is trying to keep Mayhem in close.

Mayhem lands a couple of digs. Mayhem won't allow Booth to sweep him here. Booth can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mayhem controls the pace. Booth wants to improve his position but instead Mayhem has moved into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mayhem throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mayhem missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mayhem winds up and cracks Booth with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Booth wants to control but Mayhem is keeping busy.
Booth scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mayhem manages to mount him!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Booth keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Booth takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Mayhem raining down shots from the mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Mayhem dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Booth feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mayhem's calf. Booth walks into a jab. Mayhem darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Booth tests Mayhem's chin there with a solid looking shot. Booth on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Booth thows a leg kick but Mayhem checks it and Mayhem counters with a right hand to the body. Booth misses with a wild body shot. Mayhem swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Bryan Mayhem is winning the standup battle so far. Booth slips under a jab from Mayhem. Booth tries a quick counter leg kick but Mayhem is wise to it. Mayhem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Booth paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Booth jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mayhem drives through and clinches with Booth against the ropes.
Booth throws a punch but it's blocked by Mayhem. Booth can't find room to land a body shot as Mayhem controls the action.
Mayhem can't get the takedown.
Booth misses with a short punch on the inside. Booth throws a punch but it's blocked by Mayhem. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mayhem. Mayhem successfully pulls guard.
Booth's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mayhem is trying to keep Booth in close.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Booth wants to stand but Mayhem is controlling his posture from full guard. Mayhem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Booth manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mayhem throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Booth trying to control the position.
Mayhem trying to control but Booth is working from the bottom. Mayhem chips away with some ground and pound. Mayhem pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Booth is keeping the position for now. Mayhem sitting in guard, not really doing much. Booth wants to stand and escape but Mayhem is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Booth wants to sweep here but Mayhem controlling him for the moment. Mayhem postures up.
Booth keeping moving, preventing Mayhem from controlling successfully. Mayhem throws a big elbow that misses. Mayhem is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Booth misses with a right hand and Mayhem counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nice body punch from Booth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mayhem throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Booth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mayhem fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A little jabbing left from Booth on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Booth takes a jab right on the kisser.
Booth circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looks like Mayhem has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. A jab from Mayhem misses. Mayhem misses with a lunging right hand
and Booth counters with a leg kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Booth fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mayhem has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Booth lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mayhem at a distance.
Mayhem is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Mayhem dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Booth fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Booth throws the left hand but Mayhem avoids the punch easily. Mayhem lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mayhem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Booth manages to avoid it. Booth appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Booth pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mayhem is out of range and Booth settles back down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Booth ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Booth misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mayhem steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Booth. Booth bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mayhem's head backwards. Booth steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mayhem. Mayhem misses with a straight right. Mayhem scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Booth doesn't seem bothered though. Booth throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mayhem counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. William Booth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayhem throws a body shot but no joy. Mayhem changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Booth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mayhem working away. Bryan Mayhem is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Booth is pushing Mayhem's head away, looking to escape. Mayhem manages to hold on to the position though. Booth is looking to regain half guard here but Mayhem keeps moving and retains side control. Mayhem taking a breather here. Booth is looking for a sweep. A lull in the action here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Booth looking for a sweep but Mayhem has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Booth is squirming around, avoiding Mayhem's attempts to control the action. Booth is working to get back to half guard.
William Booth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Booth wants to try and get back to his feet. Booth can't escape the position.
Mayhem tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Booth tries to lock up and control but Mayhem gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mayhem looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Mayhem showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mayhem has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Bryan Mayhem wins by unanimous decision! Bryan Mayhem spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
