Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gattsu Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gattsu Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Kruger! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Kruger misses. Kruger throws out a powerful jab. Emelianenko throws a lazy right hand but Kruger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kruger misses with a lunging right hand
and Emelianenko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Emelianenko ducks under a wild hook from Kruger. Kruger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Emelianenko lands with a good body shot. Emelianenko moves out of range of the strikes. Emelianenko appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emelianenko jabs Kruger right on the nose. Kruger blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Roman Kruger has been cut. Emelianenko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Emelianenko avoids the body shot from Kruger.
Emelianenko lands a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger throws a hook but Emelianenko avoids it easily. Roman Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kruger misses with a left hand and Emelianenko counters with a stiff right hand. Kruger scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Emelianenko slips under a jab from Kruger. Kruger misses with a right hand and Emelianenko counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kruger misses with a looping right. Kruger misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming. Emelianenko with a nice cross. Kruger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It looked like Emelianenko was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kruger. Kruger keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko takes a swing at Kruger's ribcage but misses. Kruger might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A punch lands to the side of Emelianenko 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kruger just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Emelianenko was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kruger. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kruger slips a straight right by Emelianenko. Kruger throws an off balance right hand
and Emelianenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kruger wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Emelianenko moves out of range as Kruger strikes. Kruger misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming. Emelianenko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kruger connects with a looping right hand.

and Emelianenko counters with a three punch combo that has Kruger backing up. Kruger nods at Emelianenko to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko takes a swing at Kruger's ribcage but misses. Kruger rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Emelianenko counters with a lovely straight right hand! Emelianenko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Emelianenko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kruger to score with a decent uppercut. Nice body punch from Emelianenko. Kruger swings and misses with a shot to the body and Emelianenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kruger moves into range and connects with a jab. Kruger throws a hook but Emelianenko avoids it easily. Emelianenko misses the shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kruger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Emelianenko was well out of range. Poor timing from Kruger. It looked like Emelianenko wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Emelianenko moves away from the strike by Kruger. Emelianenko throwing a counter right hand but Kruger manages to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from Emelianenko misses the target. Kruger appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Kruger throws a lazy right hand but Emelianenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Emelianenko misses with a straight right. This has been an exciting period of action! Kruger throws a body shot but no joy. Kruger cracks Emelianenko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Kruger throws a right and a left that Emelianenko avoids nicely. Kruger swings and misses with a shot to the body and Emelianenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gattsu Emelianenko will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Roman Kruger's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Emelianenko pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kruger! But no joy. Kruger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Emelianenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kruger is rocked! Kruger misses with a left hand and Emelianenko counters with a right hand from hell and Kruger is out cold! A vicious knockout!
