The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
King Jr avoids the head kick by Sears.
King Jr changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sears throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. King Jr was covering up waiting for the punch and Sears finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sears trying to control but King Jr is working from the bottom.
King Jr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sears is aware though and is defending well.
Sears avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
