Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos comes to the cage accompanied by sujou meu pau foi de coco. Ter Harkel has chosen Conan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Wilson Carlos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ter Harkel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Carlos swinging wildly here.
Carlos tries a low kick but Ter Harkel avoids it.
Carlos throws a head kick but Ter Harkel moves out of range.
Ter Harkel throws a sloppy head kick and Carlos moves out of range easily.
Ter Harkel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Carlos throws a series of punches but Ter Harkel avoids them all with ease.
Ter Harkel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carlos defends it nicely.
Wilson Carlos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sloppy strikes from Carlos. Those never looked like landing.
Carlos misses with a double jab.
Ter Harkel lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Carlos lands a left and a right that sends Ter Harkel crashing to the canvas! Carlos dives into mount looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carlos jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ter Harkel is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ter Harkel and Carlos has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ter Harkel lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Carlos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ter Harkel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carlos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ter Harkel counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ter Harkel misses with a double jab.
Ter Harkel looks winded!
Ter Harkel shoots in for a takedown but Carlos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Carlos circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Ter Harkel drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Carlos follows Ter Harkel to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilson Carlos!
Wilson Carlos spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel was interviewed post fight and said 'Pech gehabt'.
