Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alain Fournier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alain Fournier was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alain Fournier! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fournier postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Fournier postures up.
Fournier passes Miller's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fournier thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.
Fournier wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs. Fournier is trying to control. Miller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fournier prevents Miller from improving his position. Fournier throwing shots but Miller is blocking nicely. Miller is looking for a sweep. Fournier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller trying to control but Fournier postures up.

Fournier takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Fournier is figuring out what he wants to do next. Miller is looking for a sweep. Fournier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fournier seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is looking to improve his position.
Fournier is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fournier trying to control the pace. Miller is refusing to be controlled, as Fournier sits in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Miller lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Brandon Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fournier shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fournier gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller misses with a hook. Fournier ducked under it nicely. Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fournier scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fournier is chipping away with strikes.
Fournier working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Fournier misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Fournier wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy. Fournier working the ground and pound but Miller is defending the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fournier fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Fournier working away. Miller is looking for a sweep. Fournier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fournier controlling the position. Fournier trying to control the action but Miller is working from the bottom. Miller takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fournier in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alain Fournier dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Miller checks a low kick from Fournier. Miller lands with a nice body punch. Fournier misses with a low kick. Fournier drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fournier working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Miller tries to buck Fournier off but Fournier is having none of it. Miller is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Fournier is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Miller takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Miller tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fournier with the ground and pound from mount. Fournier looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alain Fournier has got the better of the ground game so far. Miller wants to hold on but Fournier pushes him away. Fournier has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Miller's face.
Fournier sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Fournier is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Fournier!
