Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pebbles OfCocoa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donovan Riggs! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Riggs seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. OfCocoa is trying to control but can't.
Riggs is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. OfCocoa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Riggs's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Riggs's back! Riggs trying to control the hands but OfCocoa won't let him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riggs staying busy and making it hard for OfCocoa to control. Riggs wants to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. OfCocoa is persistently looking for the submission but Riggs is defending it well.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

OfCocoa gets his hands free as Riggs looks to control. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - OfCocoa's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
OfCocoa missing with strikes. OfCocoa keeps control of the position as Riggs tries to break free.
Riggs turns into OfCocoa and is now in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OfCocoa wants to sweep but no luck. Riggs with a nice head shot there. Riggs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Riggs is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Riggs stopping the sweep attempt from OfCocoa. Riggs cracks OfCocoa with a solid left hand. Riggs trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Riggs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of OfCocoa's head. OfCocoa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Riggs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Riggs's corner is telling him to maintain position. Riggs pushes down on OfCocoa's leg and manages to get into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Riggs lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggs perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. OfCocoa punching from the bottom.
Riggs working over OfCocoa with some ground and pound. OfCocoa looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. OfCocoa trying to control but Riggs postures up.
Riggs seems to be working for a kimura but OfCocoa defends the submission attempt. Riggs blocks the strikes from OfCocoa.
Riggs wants to work for an arm triangle but OfCocoa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Riggs throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. OfCocoa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for OfCocoa. Riggs trying to control the position from guard on top but OfCocoa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. OfCocoa wants to sweep but no luck. Riggs chips away with some ground and pound. Riggs landing some decent shots from guard. OfCocoa is looking to stand up but Riggs isn't so interested in that idea. Riggs connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Riggs drops back, looking for a kneebar! OfCocoa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. OfCocoa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from OfCocoa! You can see the frustration on Riggs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donovan Riggs dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
OfCocoa shoots in but Riggs avoids the takedown attempt easily. Riggs feints the counter takedown. OfCocoa fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Riggs drops down looking to force a counter takedown but OfCocoa defends it well. OfCocoa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Riggs tries to avoid it but OfCocoa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Riggs to the ground. Riggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Riggs is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Riggs looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pebbles OfCocoa. That's going to take a lot out of him. OfCocoa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Riggs swivels and escapes. OfCocoa fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Riggs changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Riggs manages to get an easy takedown there - catching OfCocoa on his heels. He'll look to pass OfCocoa's guard now, I'm sure. OfCocoa trying to keep a closed guard but Riggs is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs preventing the sweep. Riggs is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Riggs with a nice head shot there. Riggs wants to pass the guard but OfCocoa is keeping the position. Riggs scoring with punches to the head and body. Riggs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Riggs trying to control but OfCocoa is working from the bottom. Riggs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of OfCocoa's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riggs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Riggs is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
OfCocoa is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs working some strikes from top position. Oh OfCocoa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Riggs landing with the ground and pound. Riggs loads up on a big left hand. OfCocoa felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Riggs looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! OfCocoa can't hide his disappointment, as Riggs celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donovan Riggs! Donovan Riggs tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
