Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Khabilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Dillashaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TJ Dillashaw will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, TJ Dillashaw! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khabilov shoots in for a double leg but Dillashaw sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Khabilov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dillashaw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Khabilov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Khabilov connects with a couple of short punches. Khabilov trying to control but Dillashaw is working from the bottom. Dillashaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khabilov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dillashaw utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khabilov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Khabilov is in close to Dillashaw's body, working some short punches and elbows. Khabilov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Khabilov scoring with some ground and pound. Khabilov wants to control from the top but Dillashaw keeps moving. Khabilov scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khabilov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dillashaw looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Dillashaw looks winded! Khabilov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillashaw can do anything to dispel that myth. Khabilov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Khabilov throws a big elbow that misses. Khabilov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dillashaw looking for a sweep. Not yet Dillashaw, not yet. Dillashaw utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Khabilov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dillashaw is keeping the position for now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khabilov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dillashaw wants to stand but Khabilov is controlling the position. Khabilov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khabilov trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillashaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dillashaw keeping full guard, as Khabilov tries to pass. Dillashaw can't keep his opponent in guard - Khabilov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Khabilov is figuring out what he wants to do next. Khabilov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Khabilov working over Dillashaw with some ground and pound. Dillashaw looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillashaw wants to get back to his feet. Khabilov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillashaw taking some punishment here, with Khabilov in his half guard. Khabilov lands with a punch from half guard. Khabilov is nestled in close to Dillashaw, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Khabilov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Khabilov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Khabilov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dillashaw! Khabilov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Khabilov raining down shots from the mount! Khabilov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dillashaw's face.
Khabilov is landing with some decent strikes but Dillashaw is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Khabilov punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khabilov punishing his opponent with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khabilov raining down shots from the mount! Khabilov looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Khabilov lands with some strikes. Khabilov lands a big elbow. Khabilov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dillashaw looks a forlorn figure.
Dillashaw is rocked! Khabilov working away from the top, dropping strikes. Dillashaw is still in real trouble! Can Khabilov finish him? Khabilov lands a couple of good shots and Dillashaw has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Khabilov scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Dillashaw is looking for a way out. Khabilov lands shots to the head and Dillashaw turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
