Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nosyaj Rram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rram comes to the cage accompanied by Grace - You Don't Own Me ft. G-Eazy. Frank Abbot will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Abbot! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rram jabs at Abbot's body. Abbot misses with a right hand and Rram counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Abbot takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Rram scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rram misses with a series of wild punches.
Abbot rushes Rram and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Abbot misses with a punch on the inside.

Nosyaj Rram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rram misses with a series of wild punches.

and Abbot counters by moving into the clinch. Abbot scores with a shot to the side of Rram's head. Rram's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Abbot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Rram backs off Abbot throws a huge counter combo but Rram manages to avoid it all. Rram misses with a shot to the body and Abbot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rram misses with a hook to the body

Abbot throws a body punch but Rram moves out of range. Rram avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rram lands with a straight right. Abbot didn't see that one coming. Rram lands with an overhand left. Rram is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abbot. Rram throws a series of punches but Abbot avoids them all with ease. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rram breaks from the clinch.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rram here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Rram tries to bum rush Abbot with a series of wild strikes but Abbot uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rram fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abbot manages to avoid it. Rram misses with a two punch combination.
Abbot takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rram moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Abbot closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rram is struggling to control the position. Abbot fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Abbot throws a fast counter high kick but Rram manages to duck under it in time. A nice inside leg kick there by Abbot. That's going to slow Rram down. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Abbot in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rram misses with a hook
and Abbot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Abbot takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Abbot connects with a single shot there. Nosyaj Rram is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rram lands with a hook. Abbot tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Rram takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Rram moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A left and a right from Rram both land. Nice combination. Danga de danga de dang - Rram scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Abbot misses with a head kick.

Nosyaj Rram is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Frank Abbot seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Abbot misses with an elbow over the top. Abbot can't find room to land a body shot as Rram controls the action.
