Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Wayne Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerhard Vettl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerhard Vettl is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerhard Vettl! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vettl takes one on the button.
It looks like Gerhard Vettl has been cut. Jordan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vettl on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Vettl throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vettl wants to clinch up but Jordan keeps it at a distance. Jordan misses with the combination.
Vettl lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Vettl misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vettl throws a sloppy head kick and Jordan moves out of range easily. Vettl throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jordan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jordan scores with a shoulder strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jordan lands with a short head shot on the inside. Vettl manages to break the clinch.
Vettl tries to clinch up but Jordan circles away and keeps his distance. Jordan cracks Vettl with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Jordan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vettl throws a nice looking combination but Jordan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The fighters circle momentarily. Jordan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That has opened up Gerhard Vettl's cut even more. Jordan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Vettl should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jordan moves into range and clinches up with Vettl. I was talking to Jordan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Jordan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Jordan. Jordan has Vettl pressed against the ropes, preventing Vettl from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A hook to the body from Jordan.
Nice body punch from Jordan. Vettl looks winded! Jordan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vettls head. Jordan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vettl has had enough of the clinch but Jordan keeps him there for the moment. Jordan scores with a nice hook to the head.
The cut above Gerhard Vettl's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Vettl trying to stall but Jordan improves his position.
A short body shot lands from Jordan as the two fighters clinch.
Jordan works on Vettl's body with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A nice left hand lands by Jordan.
Jordan scores with a shot to the side of Vettl's head. Jordan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Vettl. A nice left hand lands by Jordan.
Jordan pushes Vettl back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Jordan lands a hook that snaps the head of Vettl backwards.
Gerhard Vettl's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Still in the clinch, Jordan scores with a nice short uppercut. A quick uppercut on the inside from Jordan. A short right from Jordan on the inside. Jordan lands a hook that snaps the head of Vettl backwards.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gerhard Vettl's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Wayne Jordan!
