Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris White! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively. Crane gets the takedown into side control. Crane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Crane goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, White rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Crane's guard! Nice work there by White! Crane looking for a guillotine here but White defends easily.
Crane looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! White has picked Crane up and slammed him! Crane can't keep hold of the triangle and White manages to pass to side control! Crane is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Crane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Crane could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. White scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Crane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily. Crane looking for subs from the bottom but White mounts him! Crane is looking to get to half guard. Crane is working hard here to advance position. Crane manages to regain half guard. Good work. Crane looking for submissions off his back. Crane wants to improve his position but White is controlling well.
White is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane looking for submissions from an awkward position here. White moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Crane. Crane is looking for a sweep. Crane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crane is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Crane is looking to reverse the position. White scoring with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane sneaks back into half guard. Crane makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Crane. Crane looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! White has picked Crane up and slammed him! Crane can't keep hold of the triangle and White manages to pass to side control! Crane is trying to work for a sweep but White has mounted him! White lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane regains half guard. Crane looking for submissions off his back. Crane looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Crane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily. Crane works his way to full guard. Good work. Crane working for submissions but it's allowed White to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris White dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Crane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and White counters with a one-two to the body. Crane throws a leg kick but White sees it coming and moves out of range. Crane throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. White stalks Crane and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crane's face. Crane staggers backwards, shaken. Crane fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging White to the ground. Crane is now in White's guard. White has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Crane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crane working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. White is looking to stand up but Crane isn't so interested in that idea. White lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crane looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but White puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Crane actively working from the bottom here. Crane actively working from the bottom here. White decides to stand and escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. White throws a one two combo.
A punch combination from Crane misses. White lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Crane backs up against the cage.
Crane looking to score a takedown here. White is defending well but Crane drives through and ends up in White's guard. Crane trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. White is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Crane presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White breaks the clinch.
White tests Crane's chin there with a solid looking shot. Crane misses with a takedown attempt and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. White thumps Crane with a low kick. White feints a jab promting Crane to slip. White then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Crane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crane.
Crane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and Crane finishes the takedown easily into guard. Crane looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White has his feet on Crane's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. White moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. No luck for Crane with that takedown attempt. White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Left hook, right uppercut from White. Crane feints and as White raises his hands in defense, Crane changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Crane scoring with some ground and pound. Crane preventing the sweep. Crane landing some decent shots from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of White's head. Crane drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Crane as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! White screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Crane! Nice submission victory there!
