The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker misses with a left hand
and Danilov counters with a body kick that stops Striker in his tracks momentarily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Danilov, right into the meat.
Island Striker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danilov throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Striker.
Striker punishes Danilov's body with a nice straight punch.
Danilov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Danilov is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Danilov throws a head kick that half lands.
Striker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Danilov on the side of the head.
It looks like Maxim Danilov has been cut.
Striker punishes Danilov's body with a nice straight punch.
Danilov looks winded!
Striker feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Danilov sprawling to the canvas! Danilov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Striker finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Danilov leaves his chin hanging out and Striker seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Danilov crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
