The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamedd wants to clinch.

Khamedd feints and as Inoshita raises his hands in defense, Khamedd changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Inoshita is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Khamedd looks up at the clock and then as Inoshita takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Khamedd smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Khamedd is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Inoshita off. It looks like it's working - Inoshita slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Khamedd displaying calm under pressure there.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Inoshita is defended easily by Khamedd.
