Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cletus McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Merle Haggard - Okie From Muskogee. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald misses with a looping right.

McDonald drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McDonald controls the position from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McDonald is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Schilling is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McDonald moves into full mount!
McDonald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
McDonald won't let Schilling get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
McDonald throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McDonald has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McDonald closes the distance and clinches up with Schilling, looking for a takedown. McDonald pushes Schilling against the cage but Schilling circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

McDonald changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schilling looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McDonald seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Schilling for as long as he can get away with.
Schilling has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McDonald continues to stall.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

McDonald 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

McDonald is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schilling can do to turn this around?
Schilling's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McDonald , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
