Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryo Narushima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Smith! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith lands a glancing blow to the side of Narushima's head. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Smith crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Narushima - the referee stops the clock and Smith gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Narushima. Smith manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Narushima throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Narushima throws a powerful right kick. Smith tried to block low but the kick was high! Smith was taken right off of his feet! Narushima jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ryo Narushima! A very excited looking Ryo Narushima made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
