The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monday throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leduc stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Leduc swings widly with a right hand
and Monday counters with a stiff right hand.
Monday keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Monday looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Monday throws a half hearted mid kick.
Leduc tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Monday was well out of range. Poor timing from Leduc.
Monday throws a head kick but Leduc moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Leduc misses the target.
Nice uppercut lands for Monday. That snapped Leduc's head back.
Monday lands a jab to the head.

Leduc looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Monday puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Leduc is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mike Monday spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
