The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Lancier leaves Steel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Steel fails with the takedown
and Lancier counters by moving into the clinch.
Steel is trying to pull guard but Lancier turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Tristan Lancier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Steel.
Lancier gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Steel regains guard.
