Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Frank Franco and Anger Hate. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Frank Franco! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Anger Hate!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Hate has closed the distance and engaged Franco in a clinch.

Franco has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hate uses from the top position.

Franco had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hate defends it easily.
Hate looking to sit in guard and control but Franco gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Franco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hate swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Franco is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hate is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hate has escaped and now he's on top!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Franco looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hate must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Franco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hate gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hate is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hate wants to pass the guard but Franco is keeping the position.

Franco looking for a guillotine here but Hate defends easily.

Franco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hate gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hate slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hate wants to control from the top but Franco keeps moving.

Hate drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Franco manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hate has Franco in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Franco is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hate is looking to improve his position.
Franco seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Hate is looking to control Franco's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hate avoid being mounted?

Franco is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hate tries to roll over but Franco keeps him under control.

Franco tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hate knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Franco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Franco is thwarting Hate's attempts to control the position.

Hate holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Franco is taking a breather. Hate says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hate wants to sweep but Franco has passed to side control!

Hate tries to control but Franco manages to take his back.

Franco has good solid back control here.

Franco has got one arm under Hate's chin. This could be trouble... Hate trying to control the other hand but Franco gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Hate has tapped out! The fight is over!
