In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Ra Rrz Be Nize! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Daniel Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.

Ryan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Ryan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Be Nize is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ryan pushing down on Be Nize's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Be Nize's coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Ryan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Be Nize doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ryan.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Be Nize is trying to maintain the position but Ryan is very close to passing his half guard.
Ryan moves nicely into side control.

Be Nize tries to buck Ryan off but Ryan is having none of it.

Ryan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Be Nize is looking to regain half guard here but Ryan keeps moving and retains side control.

Ryan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Be Nize is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
You can see the frustration on Be Nize's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ryan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Be Nize tries to improve position but can't.

Ryan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Be Nize has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ryan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Be Nize is trying to escape and Ryan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Be Nize is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ryan! Very nice indeed!
