Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between TJ Kirk and Lukas Martin. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Lukas Martin! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Martin tries to clinch there but Kirk circles away.

Kirk is really struggling to control Martin but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kirk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Martin trying to keep a closed guard but Kirk is proving a slippery customer.

Kirk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Martin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kirk has managed to get both his arms back between Martin's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kirk wants to control from the top but Martin keeps moving. Kirk passes into half guard. Martin is trying to maintain the position but Kirk is very close to passing his half guard. Kirk has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Kirk (5) vs (10) Martin Kirk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martin on the ground. Martin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kirk swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Martin is now in Kirk's guard. A big mistake from Kirk there, giving up the dominant position! Kirk tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Martin cranks the arm and Kirk screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kirk, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
