Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Aran Schmeck and Percy Schmeiser. Schmeiser has chosen David vs Monsanto as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Schmeck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Schmeiser tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Schmeiser has Schmeck up against the cage in a clinch.
Schmeiser has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Schmeck clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schmeiser biding his time, controlling Schmeck. Schmeck trying to control but not successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schmeiser is hanging on to Schmeck's back as he tries to escape.
Schmeck has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Schmeiser controlling the position well here. Schmeck rolled but Schmeiser kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
