The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortuyn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fortuyn scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fortuyn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fortuyn feints and then cracks Turnbull's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Turnbull down.
Fortuyn misses with a body kick.
Fortuyn with a hook.
Fortuyn scores with a jab to the body.
Fortuyn looks to land a body kick but Turnbull moved away.
Turnbull is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Fortuyn.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fortuyn. Turnbull does a little dance to reset his feet.
Turnbull seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Fortuyn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turnbull at a distance.
Fortuyn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Fortuyn thuds a left hand into Turnbull's body.
Fortuyn throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Fortuyn scores with a hook to the body. Turnbull takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Turnbull steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fortuyn. That one must have hurt.
Turnbull is breathing heavily.
Turnbull looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maikel Fortuyn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Fortuyn tries to throw a body punch but Turnbull avoids it by throwing Fortuyn back against the cage.

Well Fortuyn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
