Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Blanchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Heard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Fabian Blanchard has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fabian Blanchard seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Heard.
Heard misses the shot to the body.
Blanchard half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Heard drives through with a takedown into guard.
Blanchard has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Heard is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Heard is trying to break the clinch but Blanchard is controlling him.
A frustrated look appears on Blanchard's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Heard jumps guard and drags Blanchard to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Blanchard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Blanchard wants to control from the top but Heard keeps moving.

Heard sneaks out the side door and pushes Blanchard away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blanchard.

Heard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Blanchard tries to lock up and control but Heard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Blanchard is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Heard dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Heard is trying to get an arm triangle but Blanchard is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blanchard wants to control but Heard postures up.
Heard is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Blanchard's shoulder. That is not cool.

Heard goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Blanchard has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Heard but great work by Blanchard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blanchard gets caught napping as Heard dives in and scores a takedown. Blanchard manages to retain guard.
Heard is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Heard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Blanchard works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Well Heard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
