Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papy Abedi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Sackrider!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sackrider, as that shot connected.

Sackrider gets caught napping as Abedi dives in and scores a takedown. Sackrider manages to retain guard.
Abedi won't allow Sackrider to sweep him here.
Abedi slips nicely into half guard.
Abedi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sackrider is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sackrider punching from the bottom.
Sackrider is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Abedi scores with a couple of nice shots.
Abedi scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Abedi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Sackrider is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Abedi jumps into side control!
Abedi is working Sackrider over with some ground and pound from side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sackrider seems a little lost for a moment, as Abedi dominates the positioning.
Sackrider bucks up and tries to throw Abedi off but instead Abedi has got his back!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Abedi connects with a big shot to the side of Sackrider's head.
Abedi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sackrider showing good submission defense here.
Abedi has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sackrider's body.
Abedi punches Sackrider on the ear.
Abedi lands strikes to the head.
Abedi really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sackrider.
Sackrider wants to control his opponent's hands but Abedi gets his hands free.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abedi biding his time, controlling Sackrider.
Sackrider covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I really don't envy Sackrider right now.
Sackrider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abedi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Abedi scoring with big shots to the body. Sackrider is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Sackrider was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Papy Abedi!
Papy Abedi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Kyle Sackrider was interviewed post fight and said 'Back to the drawing board I'll be back!!!!'.
