Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tiko Gardeau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, herman burt!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardeau checks a leg kick nicely.
burt jabs Gardeau right on the nose. Gardeau blinks but takes it well.
burt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
burt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gardeau closes the distance and clinches up with burt, looking for a takedown. Gardeau pushes burt against the cage but burt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A combination from burt does no damage.
burt misses with a jab, cross combination.
A nice leg kick lands there from burt.
burt throws a jab but it's blocked by Gardeau.
herman burt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
burt waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Gardeau.
burt misses with a double jab.
burt misses with a head kick.
Gardeau looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? burt is fending him off so far but Gardeau persists. Nope, burt circles away and we're back to standing.
burt misses with a wild combination.
Gardeau gets a takedown into half guard.
burt looks gassed!

Gardeau frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gardeau is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, burt has managed to escape the submission attempt.
burt is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gardeau is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. burt can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
burt is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gardeau working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. burt looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Gardeau! Submission of the night perhaps?
