Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rad Dood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rad Dood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Lewis! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dood lands a glancing blow to the side of Lewis's head. Lewis throws a low kick but Dood avoids it. Dood dodges the punch combination from Lewis.
Lewis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dood.
Lewis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dood counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lewis is looking to stand up but Dood isn't so interested in that idea. Dood throwing strikes but missing. Dood trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dood prevents Lewis from getting back to his feet. Dood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dood throws a big elbow that misses. Dood trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom. Dood drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dood jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dood trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dood loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lewis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lewis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dood dives into side control.
Dood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lewis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dood scores with a couple of short elbows. Dood trying to control the position but Lewis is working away. Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dood is really struggling to control Lewis but he's trying to hold on to the position. Lewis is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dood is trying to get an arm triangle but Lewis is defending well. Lewis is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Dood tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lewis is not content to let Dood control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis prevents Dood from moving into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dood is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lewis has escaped the position, nice work there. Dood tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lewis is trying to buck Dood off. Dood definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lewis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Dood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dood throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dood is trying to get an arm triangle but Lewis is defending well. Lewis tries to escape but Dood is in control. Dood is chipping away with strikes.
Lewis wants to get back to his feet. Dood scores with a couple of short elbows. Dood in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lewis is pushing Dood's head away, looking to escape. Dood manages to hold on to the position though. Dood tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Dood working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dood tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rad Dood dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lewis manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dood keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Lewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lewis throws a right and a left that Dood avoids nicely. Dood looks to score with a jab to the body but Lewis is just out of range. Lewis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dood napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rad Dood overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dood manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Lewis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dood scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lewis lands with a short shot to the head. Lewis tries to land knees in the clinch but Dood avoids the damage to the body. Lewis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dood backwards. Lewis lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Dood is trying to control but can't.
Lewis tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Dood looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lewis wants to stand up but Dood is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dood has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lewis is working away from the top position though. Lewis wants to stand up but Dood has a hold of him and won't allow it. Lewis prevents Dood from improving his position. Dood is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lewis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lewis's back! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dood has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lewis has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Lewis is trying to get back to his feet but Dood has full control of the position and if anything, Lewis has just worked his way into a worse spot. Dood is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lewis defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Dood missing with punches from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis trying to get back to his feet but Dood is in full control for now. Dood working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Lewis is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Dood has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Lewis taps out!
