Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igor Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riccardo Parsia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsia goes for a double leg but Ivanov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ivanov continues to drive forward.
Ivanov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Horrible takedown attempt by Parsia or perhaps it was just good defense by Ivanov, which made it look bad.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Igor Ivanov.
