Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Venomous Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chea Soun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus throws a looping overhand right but Soun ducks down to avoid it.
Soun scores with a takedown into Maximus's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maximus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Soun wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maximus is keen to just control but Soun is a slippery customer.

Maximus working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soun is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Maximus scores with a couple of nice shots.
Maximus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Soun is looking to get to half guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Soun swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maximus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maximus in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Soun looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Maximus turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

An out of breath Venomous Maximus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
