Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lewis Temby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fat Tire!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temby rushes Tire and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tire drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Temby gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Temby lands a left hand.
Tire tries to pull guard but Temby holds him up against the cage and eventually Tire drops back down to his feet.
Knees in the clinch landing for Temby.
Temby breaks the clinch.
Temby scores with a sloppy right hand. Tire should have avoided that one.
Temby connects with a looping right hand.
Temby displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Temby rushes Tire and presses him up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tire has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Temby after a bit of a struggle.
Lewis Temby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fat Tire.
Tire wants a takedown but no success here.
Tire jumps guard but Temby turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Temby scores with a shot to the side of Tire's head.
Tire drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Temby gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tire is looking for a takedown.
Temby has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Tire regains guard immediately.
Temby slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Tire controls Temby momentarily but Temby frees himself.
Temby throws a big right hand that misses.
Temby looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tire is pulling down on Temby's head. It's preventing any offense from Temby, at least for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Temby postures up in Tire's guard and throws a big left but Tire blocks it.
Tire is adopting a defensive guard.
Tire looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Temby wants to get up but he can't break Tire's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Temby is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Temby stuffs the takedown.
Temby lands with a straight right. Tire didn't see that one coming.
Tire shoots in and drives through. Temby sprawls well.
Tire looks winded!
Temby throws a shot to the body.
Temby stalks Tire and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tire's face. Tire staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Temby shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tire eats them both and turns towards Temby to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tire with a lazy takedown attempt
and Temby counters with a nice body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good shot there by Temby.
Temby lands with an uppercut that bounces Tire off the cage and back into range.
Tire is rocked!
Temby gets in close and tags Tire with a short punch that almost sends Tire to the mat! Oh Tire is in big trouble! He turns his back on Temby, trying to create some distance but Temby rushes him, striking wildly and Tire goes down! The referee tackles Temby into the cage to end the fight! Temby is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lewis Temby!
A very excited looking Lewis Temby made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
