Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wesley Templar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Templar lands with an uppercut that bounces Buchanan off the cage and back into range.

Buchanan appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Templar paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Templar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buchanan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Templar somewhat.
Templar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buchanan avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nice straight punches there by Buchanan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Buchanan.

Templar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Paul Buchanan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wesley Templar.

Buchanan tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Templar is able to avoid easily.

Templar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Buchanan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Templar has managed to get both his arms back between Buchanan's legs - danger averted.

Buchanan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Templar wants to control the action here but instead Buchanan manages to pass to full mount!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Templar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Buchanan is working away from the top position though.

Wesley Templar's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

During a confident post fight interview, Paul Buchanan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
