Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Serge Spectre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vicente Lafayette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spectre comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spectre is defended easily by Lafayette.
Spectre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lafayette connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Lafayette has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Spectre is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Spectre throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lafayette stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
