Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hal Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hal Jordan! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Johnson as he connects with a hook. Johnson tries to clinch but Jordan moves out of range. Jordan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson. Jordan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Jordan keeps the fight on the outside. Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jordan tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Jordan darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Jordan into the ropes. Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Jordan moves away and avoids it. Jordan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Johnson doesn't seem bothered though. Jordan keeps Johnson at a distance using the push kick. Johnson jabs at Jordan's body. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jordan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jordan just misses with a punch to the body.
Jordan keeps the fight on the outside. Jordan has a takedown stuffed. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab from Johnson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. Ben Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hal Jordan. Johnson lands with a shot to the body. Jordan with a body punch. A glancing blow. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jordan. Johnson is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Jordan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily. Jordan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jordan looks winded! Jordan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Johnson moves into range and clinches up with Jordan. Jordan is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Johnson scores with a shot to the side of Jordan's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Johnson blocks it with crossed arms. A short right from Johnson on the inside. Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hal Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jordan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. Johnson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jordan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Johnson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Johnson swings for the body but Jordan moves out of range.
Jordan fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson scores with a nice strike. Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jordan off to one side. Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jordan has time to react. Johnson dips to his left and cracks Jordan with an uppercut! Johnson rushes Jordan and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Jordan tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jordan looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johnson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Jordan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Johnson rather than just go for the knockout. Johnson tries to clinch but Jordan is having none of it. Johnson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jordan swings and misses with a shot to the body and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand. Jordan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Jordan is now in Johnson's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson is looking to stand back up but Jordan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Johnson. Johnson is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jordan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jordan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jordan on the ground. Jordan stops Johnson from getting back to his feet.
Jordan maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Johnson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Jordan has cracked it and Johnson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Jordan!
