Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tung Fo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philo Beddo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tung Fo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philo Beddo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beddo lands the left hand.
Fo shoots for a takedown but Beddo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fo fails with a takedown attempt.
Fo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beddo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tung Fo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beddo scores with a hook to the body. Fo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Beddo stuffs the takedown.
Beddo pushes Fo away with a front kick.
Fo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beddo is fending him off so far but Fo persists. Nope, Beddo circles away and we're back to standing.
Beddo lands with a nice body punch.
Beddo lands a right hook to the body.
Fo is breathing heavily.
Good leg kick by Beddo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fo shoots in looking for a takedown but Beddo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beddo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fo back to the cage. Beddo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Tung Fo has been cut.
Fo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Beddo lands a jab.
Fo is rocked!
Beddo lands with a good body shot.
Oh Fo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Philo Beddo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Beddo cracks Fo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Beddo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Philo Beddo!
