The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefcake fails to land the takedown.
Beefcake misses with a leg kick
and Erickson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Erickson misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Beefcake with that takedown attempt.
Erickson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beefcake moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Beefcake misses with a lunging right hand
and Erickson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Erickson thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice straight punches there by Erickson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Erickson.
Beefcake shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Erickson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brutus Beefcake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beefcake shoots and misses
and Erickson counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.

and Erickson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Beefcake tries a low kick but Erickson avoids it.
Brutus Beefcake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

letting Erickson counter with a right hand.
Beefcake throws a head kick that misses
and Erickson counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Beefcake has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
